White Water Rapid Wash offers a comprehensive list of automated services to get your vehicle clean and shiny.
Basic Wash – We utilize different soaps and cleaners to gently get the road grime and dirt off of your car. The soft-cloth technology from Belanger then gently lifts the dirt from the car with the help of these detergents.
Dryers – White Water Rapid Wash uses over 130 horsepower of dryer action to dry your vehicle at the end of the washing process. Blowers dryers will dry your car without the rubbing and reuse associated with car wash towelers. Your vehicle will be 95% dry and with the Spot- Free water rinse, will dry without spots.
Wheel - Blasters – White Water Rapid Wash uses detergents to break down the grime and brake-dust in your wheels and uses high pressure wheel blasters to rinse and clean your wheels.
Under-body Rinse – The under-body rinse will clean the underside of your vehicle by removing the winter chemicals and salts applied by the state and city snow removal crews.
Rust Guard – Rust Guard helps protect the metal under your vehicle to insure a longer vehicle life.
Triple Foam – Triple foam polishes your vehicle’s finish to give it that new car look.
High- Pressure Rinse – All vehicles get a high-pressure rinse to get all soaps and detergents off you your vehicle.
Spot-Free Rinse – All vehicles get a spot-free final rinse to insure that your car dries without spots!
RainX Protectant – RainX is a surface Protectant that bonds to the surface of your car and keeps the vehicle looking new. Vehicles that utilize RainX over time become cleaner and drier after the wash process.
Tire Shine – An automated tire shine applicator will put a silicone based tire shine on your tires to give them that new tire look.
Free Vacuums – We offer a free vacuum token to everyone who comes through the tunnel! Roll down your window and hold your hand out and we’ll give you a vacuum token so you can vacuum out your vehicle.

If your non-profit organization, school or youth group is interested in conducting a car wash to raise money, let White Water Rapid Wash do it for you! If your group comes on-site to help with the advertising and be available to vacuum customer’s cars and dry for tips, White Water Rapid wash will split (50%) of the revenue generated. White Water Rapid wash reclaims over 80% of the water used in the car wash process. In comparison, driveway washing can use up to 300 gallons of water which runs down the storm sewer into streams and lakes. All waste water from White Water Rapid Wash is processed by Colorado Springs Utilities.
All dirt and grease collected is professionally transported and processed in accordance with State and Federal mandates and clean water guidelines.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's) -
ARE THE VACUUMS FREE? Yes! We offer 10-12 self-serve vacuum stations that are complimentary with the purchase of any wash. Tokens are given to you when you drive into the tunnel. The Token will give you 3 minute of vacuuming with the ability to use quarters or dollar coins for additional time. Just Roll down your window when you enter the tunnel and one of our friendly attendants will give you your token.
DO YOU OFFER A RAIN GUARANTEE? Yes! We know how frustrating it can be to wash your vehicle only to have an unexpected Colorado weather front zip through that same afternoon! At the Powers Location, you receive a receipt good for $3 off or a free basic wash for 48 hours after your purchase. At the Academy location, if you purchase a wash totaling $6 or greater, you can bring your receipt into the office for a free basic wash or $3 off any wash package.
Do you provide any interior detailing? No, we are an express, exterior car wash only. We have found that this particular type of car wash model allows us to provide our customers with a fast, inexpensive, high quality wash every time. We do, however, provide free self-serve vacuums, dashboard towels, wet towels, and air fresheners inside the office for purchase for your convenience
Do I stay inside my car? Yes! Our automated conveyor system allows you to stay inside your vehicle throughout the entire process. When you pull onto the lot, you will be greeted by our friendly staff who will assist you with your wash selection and take payment right there so you never have to leave your driver’s seat!
Why do you use Automatic Pay stations? Automatic Pay Stations offer a consistent experience to our customers. Automatic Pay stations allows you to choose the wash you want without the “high pressure” sales of a greeter. It also allows us to keep our prices low by not having the expense of a greeter. If you are not sure how to use our Pay Stations, let one of our attendants know and we will be happy to show you.
Do you take Credit Cards? Yes, we accept all major Credit and Debit Cards in addition to cash.
Will the cloth scratch my car? No! Cloth technology has come a long way since the 1980’s. Our Belanger soft cloth utilizes felt cloth technology that “polishes” your car as it washes it. This cloth is used to wash new cars that are manufactured before it’s wrapped for shipment. The cloth has such a small nap that it can’t hold any dirt or debris. Friction is an important part of the washing experience and White Water Rapid Wash insures that the cleaning experience is as safe as possible.
What are the restrictions for your tunnel? No double axle trucks, (dualies); no taller than 7'1"; no ladder racks hanging over the front; no tires wider than 12.5". All pickup beds must be clean and free from items and debris.
Will my windshield crack in extreme temperatures? No. Unless there is a defect in the glass, your windshield will not crack when going through the wash on an extremely hot or cold day.
Do you close on bad weather days? Our staff is usually always on site, however, when temperatures are below 20 degrees F we may have to close. Please remember if you wash in below freezing temperatures your doors and windows may freeze shut.
What is Magnesium chloride? Magnesium Chloride or “Mag Chloride” a salt compound that is pre-applied to the roads in the during snow events to prevent icing. If Mag Chloride is left on your car it can cause wiring corrosion and rust. Read more about Mag Chloride from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
Are you a franchise? No- we are a locally owned and operated car wash.
Do you recycle your water? Yes! We recycle 80 percent of our water through our re-claim system. Also, we only use 20 gallons of fresh water per wash, compared to a home wash which typically uses more than three times as much water! Click here to read more.
How often should I wash/wax my vehicle? Wash frequency really depends on the climate and environment that you live in. In Colorado, it is important to wash frequently enough to remove pollutants in the rain, bugs, Magnesium Chloride, etc. Additionally, the more you wash, the more you should wax. Read more here.
